Inventory Allocation and History
Efficiently manage the allocation of inventory items to resources and track their history to ensure organized usage and availability.
Inventory Allocation
Purpose
Allocate available inventory items to resources with essential details like issue date, return date, and remarks.
Steps
- Navigate to the Manage Inventory section.
- Click the Add button.
- Fill out the allocation form with the following details:
- Inventory: Select the inventory item you wish to allocate.
- Resource: Select the resource to whom the inventory will be allocated.
- Issue Date: Specify the date the item is issued.
- Return Date: Set an expected return date (if applicable).
- Remarks: Add any additional notes or instructions.
- Click Create to assign the inventory item.
- Once allocated, the item’s status will update to show it is assigned to the selected resource.
Allocation History
Purpose
Track the allocation history of each inventory item to monitor its usage and current assignment.
Steps
- Navigate to the Manage Inventory section.
- Locate the inventory item you wish to track.
- Click the Eye Icon button to open the detailed inventory view.
- Scroll to the Allocation History section to access:
- Past Allocations: A list of all previous allocations, including:
- Resource names
- Issue and return dates
- Remarks
- Current Allocation: Displays the resource to whom inventory item is currently assigned to.
