Requesting Inventory
The Request Inventory feature allows users to submit requests for new inventory items and track the status of their requests. This ensures a streamlined process for managing inventory needs within the organization.
Requesting a New Inventory Item
Purpose
Submit a request for inventory items with a description of why they are needed or what type is required.
Steps
- Navigate to the My Inventory section.
- Click the Request New Inventory button.
- Fill out the request form with the following details:
- Name: Enter the name of the item you need.
- Description: Provide a brief explanation of why the item is needed or specify the type of inventory required.
- Click Submit to send the request for approval.
My Inventory
Purpose
View all inventory items currently allocated to you.
Features
- Displays a list of inventory items with details such as:
- Name
- Serial Number
- Allocation Date
- Remarks (if any)
- Allows you to track and manage items assigned to you efficiently.
My Requests
Purpose
Track the status of inventory requests you have submitted.
Features
- Displays all your inventory requests in a tabular format, including:
- Name: The name of the requested item.
- Description: The reason or type specified during the request.
- Status: Indicates whether the request is:
- Requested: Pending review.
- Accepted: Approved by the management.
- Rejected: Declined with or without a reason.
